The 2025 season officially started Saturday (3/15/25) at PPMS with a fourth place finish with the FAST Sprint Series.

Ricky Peterson Jr and Chiappelli Motorsports are geared up for a 75+ race campaign centered around Pennsylvania and Ohio. Peterson and the team are going into 2025 with a fresh slate and new confidence after partnering in late 2024.

Coming out of the off-season of building new cars, refreshing equipment and equipping a new trailer. The Chiapelli team and driver were eager to start the season off at PPMS. When not racing for the FAST Series points championship, the team will mix in races around Central & Western PA and Ohio. The schedule will include parts of the Ohio Speedweek, all of Western PA Speedweek and some World of Outlaw races.

“Tom and Fran have been incredible to work with and have provided us with everything we need to be ready for the season and the ability for me to focus on driving. This is the most prepared, we have been heading into a season”, said Peterson.

“Once the FAST Series released their schedule, it made a lot of sense for me as a driver and for Tom and Fran as car owners to race for a championship, while building our partnership.”

“We built the schedule around the FAST Series and everything else added are races, we know we are prepared for. Tom and Fran have been super easy to work with and I am so appreciative of the opportunity they are providing me.”
